Outfitter Chase Harrison
Welcome! Thank you for stopping by. Originally from Missoula, Montana, I spent my formative years immersed in the wonders of the great outdoors, indulging in activities like bird hunting, fishing, skiing, hockey, and exploring western Montana.
Upon graduating from high school, I embarked on a journey marked by adventure and hard work. Commencing my career with the Forest Service in Salmon, Idaho, I laid the groundwork for what would become a near decade of wildland firefighting. While pursuing my studies at the University of Montana, I played two seasons with UofM club hockey. I transitioned into coaching youth hockey, a role where I've found immense fulfillment and success, clinching four state championships, including the 2023 Montana Varsity State Championship.
The allure of bottomless powder led me to Alta, Utah, where I spent seven winters skiing and working and waiting for the next storm. In the spring of '13, I embraced the call of the river and started guiding out of Missoula. I feel lucky to have experienced many lifetimes of trout eating flies. This experience has given me an understanding of how trout work and I look forward to sharing this with you. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to fish alongside you or connect you with one of the many skilled guides in Missoula, Montana.
Let me know if you have any questions.
